Useless Travel apps

The amount of travel apps on the iTunes App Store numbers in the thousands, so this partly collection of a few travel apps here on iPhonetravelapps.net doesn’t inspire much confidence in the site.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

The site design is atrocious, and we didn’t feel much like staying around after being bombarded by pop-up advertisements after each click.

Most apps for iPhone sites have a few screenshots to help users understand how the programs they are offering work, but this site barely put any time or energy into choosing good shots, and the results speak for themselves.

No points here for innovation. iPhoneTravelapps.net can’t even put together a functional website; we find it hard to believe that busy travelers would want to waste their time here.

Support was nowhere to be found on this site, and from what we could tell, it was never meant to exist anyways.

Just like the support ghost town, the social media options on iPhoneTravelapps.net are non-existent. It might almost be better that way.

Ok, how good are the Iphone descriptions and content about these apps? Is there too much info or too little? Is the language easy to follow or boring technical jargon?.

The app descriptions we saw on this site were stolen directly from the iTunes App Store’s descriptions for the iPhone apps. Not a good sign.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with video, HD, multiplayer options, mobile, music makers and audio options..

Nothing says “Travel site” more than a few cheesy but fun videos of destinations, but things like this were nowhere to be found on iPhoneTravelapps.net
