iPhone Dev Camp is a yearly seminar taking place in California that gives up and coming iPhone developers a chance to learn more about the phone and its apps.

How does the site look? This parameter evaluates the overall design and gives extra points for any innovative techniques..
Very hard to find

The design is cute at first glance, but I wouldn’t give this iPhone developers’ camp a chance based on looks alone.  It seems the entire site is made using an online web site creator.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

The three or four pages on this website all cover essentially the same material, but the most important info (price, location, registration) was hard to find.

How good is the insider info here? Can I find out the latest iPhone developments and get dev tips? We looked at the description and found out what company is behind this site..

In order to get any iPhone dev tips, you’re going to have to register and attend the conference.  Not much to show here for iPhone developers outside of the US, or West Coast.

Why is it different to other Iphone dev sites? Why does a Iphone developer need this content? We graded on originality and innovation. .

On the one hand, the conference provides a lot of neat tricks to learn about iPhone development.  On the other hand, it costs a fortune and nobody cares enough about it to buy a plane ticket in order to learn them.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? We found out..

The social options are well represented on iPhonedevcamp.org, but the talk is cluttered with too many inside jokes and comments, and it doesn’t seem to make any sense to an outside reader.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

There was a phone number to call for support, but it went straight to voicemail.  Since we called in the Winter, it may be disconnected until the time when the next seminar is due to begin.

Is this site up-to-date with the latest news from apple land? Number of updated, relevant and quality news stories and product updates..

We can’t possibly know how up-to-date the information taught at iPhone Developer’s Camp is because we can’t attend it.  We aren’t holding out for a free invite.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with RSS feeds, images, video, mobile and audio..

We found a few poor quality YouTube vids of the goings-on at the iPhone Dev Camp, but we would have liked to see some promotional material.
