Appropriately named Slacker Radio is a U.S. only web radio station that streams thousands of songs from its library to your iPhone or computer.  As far as iPhone music goes, Slacker promises a lot, but can it deliver?

How good are the app graphics? This grades the quality of the CGI graphics and animation of the games, music and video featured on the site..

The site’s design is stuck in the early decade fad of being “in your face!” and suffers as a result.  Browsing through the different stations is difficult because of what is covering up the screen.

Ok, how much fun can you have on this site? Does it offer iPhone games, competitions, interactive chat rooms, picture sharing or feature cool animations? We played then graded..
Slacker.com doesn’t offer any iPhone games, just music, and the connection and song selection was spotty at best.  Many music sites often fun quizzes or games to keep people interested, but Slacker doesn’t.

What is the concept of this Iphone app? How original is it? How will it enhance the life of iPhone users?.
The whole internet radio on your phone idea is good in principle, but unless you can stream the music smoothly without too much compression, it loses its purpose.  Slacker.com was too slow, and the audio quality too choppy to justify this app purchase.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..
We couldn’t find much in the way of support on the Slacker.com site, and when we did send of an email to the support team, we never heard back from them.

Can we see a screenshot or preview of the Iphone app? If so, how many and how good is the screenshot quality?.
The screenshots on the website show a very sleak and nice looking program, but sadly it all looked different on the iPhone we held in our hands.  Big mistake on Slacker’s part.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with video, HD, multiplayer options, mobile, music makers and audio options..
Outside of the poor quality streaming audio, Slacker doesn’t offer anything in the multimedia category.  We would have suggested streaming music videos, but seeing as how choppy the music streaming was, we can’t imagine how it would work.

Does this site fuel my creative juices? Will it encourage me to be the next Beethoven or Beatle? What can I design, write or create here?.
Listening to a great playlist can really get your creative juices flowing, but Slacker sounded to us too much like Top 40 radio.  Pandora or Last.fm have much better playlist algorithms.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out..
Slacker doesn’t offer any social options.  This is a big minus when you compare it to sites that Last.fm which have benefited enormously from their social community.
