A very complex app training system that promises to improve your cycling abilities and overall fitness by combining the iPhone’s GPS with your daily exercise route.  Does it work?  Let’s take a look.

What is the concept of this Iphone app? How original is it? How will it enhance the life of iPhone users?.

Nike had tried a similar approach with the Nike+iPod concept a few years ago, and quite a few imitations, like Map My Ride, have sprung up since. They tried to market it as a iPhone travel app.

How useful is this app? Will it save me time shopping, cooking, travelling or anything else? We graded on functionality..

Seeing as how Google Maps isn’t entirely accurate, especially when you go off the beaten trail, it’s hard to believe that this app can give you any useful metrics about your cycling route based on that alone.

Ok, how much fun can you have on this site? Does it offer iPhone games, competitions, interactive chat rooms, picture sharing or feature cool animations? We played then graded..

Exercise can be fun, but only a true glutton for punishment finds joy in crunching numbers afterwards.  The last thing I want to do after a tough workout is to open up an Excel spreadsheet.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

The website is extremely crowded with links and data, and we had a lot of trouble finding any support section.  When we did, we found it was a short one page FAQ and nothing else.

Can we see a screenshot or preview of the Iphone app? If so, how many and how good is the screenshot quality?.

We couldn’t find screenshots anywhere on the shot – the ones in the App Store on the other hand were equally pointless.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with video, HD, multiplayer options, mobile, music makers and audio options..

The YouTube videos on the site all show super-fit people working out and using the application, but we were skeptical, many of them seemed like actors.

Why is it different to other Iphone apps sites? We graded on originality and innovation?.

As we stated above, Nike had pioneered this concept with iPods years before, and from what we understand, people genuinely enjoy using it.  We don’t see the point in cycling with our iPhones.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out..

The site has many contests and a large community, but the layout is so bewildering it’s hard to know how and where to begin.  Just signing up took about 25 minutes.
