Another physical training tool, Pump One bills itself as a workout companion that offers great workouts on the go.  Will iPhone users find the time to bust out some squats in between rounds of gaming?  Doubtful…

What is the concept of this Iphone app? How original is it? How will it enhance the life of iPhone users?.
We doubt!

This is another app that tried to shove a round peg into a square hole.  Why do we need a $400 electronic device to help us keep track of our lifting when a paper and pencil do the job just fine?

How useful is this app? Will it save me time shopping, cooking, travelling or anything else? We graded on functionality..

Fancy high-tech electronics and sweat do not go together.  We don’t understand how this logic never got through to the makers of Pump One.

Ok, how much fun can you have on this site? Does it offer iPhone games, competitions, interactive chat rooms, picture sharing or feature cool animations? We played then graded..

If watching other people lift heavy things is your idea of a good time, then this iPhone app should be right up your ally.

We could not find any support options listed on the main page, and the brief FAQ left us with more questions than we started with.

Can we see a screenshot or preview of the Iphone app? If so, how many and how good is the screenshot quality?.

The screenshots of the Pump One App don’t really explain at all what the app does, or how it is supposed to help get people in shape.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with video, HD, multiplayer options, mobile, music makers and audio options..

Most of the YouTube clips are helpful demonstrations of common exercises, but as we watched them, we realized that the iPhone has a built in YouTube app already, with access to hundreds of similar videos without paying the price for a new app.

Why is it different to other Iphone apps sites? We graded on originality and innovation?.

The app is not much more than a reference for people at the gym, which isn’t very innovative at all.  For the time being, it seems the best way to keep track of your fitness is found elsewhere.

We didn’t find any social options on the site.  Had they included a user forum for tips and tricks, it would have improved the value of Pump One enormously.
